The newly elected mayors, deputy mayors and chair- and vicechair persons were invited to Surkhet by the province government. SUSWA took the opportunity to meet with 28 of the newly elected municipality representatives from 17 palikas in Karnali (including 5 of the 8 fast track palikas).
Bimal and the recently joined MWAs Nirajan and Umashankar organized an introduction and discussion on the MoU for all, in special presence of Project Coordination Unit Coordinator Debendra Jha and SUSWA CTA Mario.
The introduction was successfully completed before the mayors and chairs returned to their palikas, and the fast track mayors and chairs to meet with SUSWA MWAs to continue the discussion and sign the MoUs.
