As International Women’s Day 2023 comes to an end, we want to reflect on the progress we have made and the work that still needs to be done to promote gender equality and improve access to WASH facilities and services in Nepal. This week, we launched a social media campaign to raise awareness and encourage action on these important issues.
Through our posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, we shared information on the theme of “DigitALL: Innovate for Equality,” exploring how innovation and technology can be used to promote gender equality and improve access to WASH facilities and services. We also highlighted the importance of disability inclusion in our work.
We shared stories of inspiring women in Nepal, showcased successful examples of using technology and innovation to promote gender equality and improve WASH access, and discussed the barriers and challenges that still exist.
As we wrap up this week’s campaign, we want to remind everyone that the fight for gender equality and improved access to WASH services and facilities in Nepal is not over. There is still much work to be done, and we need your help.
We encourage you to take action and join us in promoting gender equality and improving access to WASH facilities and services in Nepal. You can start by using the hashtag #ActionForEquality and #IWD2023 on social media, sharing our posts with your friends and family, and engaging in conversations about the importance of these issues.
Together, we can make a difference and create a more equal world for all.
