Quick interview with Arti
What is your title?
Chief Administrative and Finance Officer
What does that mean?
I take care of the office, logistics and finance of the SusWA project.
What has the hardest part of your job been so far?
Being new to Surkhet it is difficult to find the best vendors – learning the market and how it works here takes time. For example, vendors may not have bank accounts, quotations are written for hand in Nepali, and so on, very different from Kathmandu. But I will get used to it soon!
What is the best part of your job?
I love calculating and numbers, I am looking forward to learning from Salla and I’m excited to work with the government and learn more about Sutra as it is new to me.
